2010 - Queen Elizabeth Maiden Voyage

Our voyage on the newest Cunard queen in October 2010.
1-QE  Taken from the Ocean Terminal before boarding in Southampton on 12/10/10. 2-flotilla  A flotilla of boats and other craft followed alongside us as we went down Southampton Water. 2-flotilla 2  Boats followed us amidst a cacophony of hoots, whistles and blasts. 2-flotilla 3  Flotilla as the sun goes down. In the Solent.
4-stateroom  Stateroom 6179 Trevor on the balcony in the background. 5-stateroom  Stateroom 6179. 6-champers  Bubbly on ice With the compliments of Cunard, this was waiting for us in our stateroom. 7-stairs  Taken from the mid-ships bar, this wall decoration greeted anyone on the double staircase.
8-stern  Leaning over the stern Her name and port of registry. (As in 2010) 3-lisbon  Queen Elizabeth docked in Lisbon. 9-discoveries  Monument to the Discoveries. 9-discoveries 2  Famous Lisbon landmark, led by Henry the Navigator.
10-lisbon  Lisbon, Portugal Photo taken from the top of the Monument. 11-lisbon  "25 de abril" suspension bridge over the River Tagus You can see the Queen Elizabeth in the background. 12a-cadiz  QE docked on a sunny day in Cadiz, Spain. 13-lido  Part of the Lido Buffet on Deck 9. There was an amazing array of foods to try!
14-lido  Delicious fresh fruits in the Lido Buffet. It is possible to eat healthily if you want to! 15-garden  The Garden Lounge. A pleasant sunny place to relax, like being in a giant conservatory. 16-garden  Mural in the Garden Lounge. The ship was beautifully decorated. 17-pool  The Pavilion pool.
